Operation technology of salt bath crucible electric furnace
This technology is suitable for salt bath crucible electric furnaces. When the electrode salt bath furnace is used for tempering, reference can be made to the "Operation Technology of Salt Bath Electric Furnace for Quenching Heating".
1. Preparation before opening the furnace
(1) The operator should wear protective equipment.
(2) Check whether the power supply, temperature instruments, safety protection equipment (such as ventilation, fire protection), and heat treatment auxiliary equipment (such as cranes, presses) are intact (including checking electrical safety grounding), and troubleshoot according to the division of labor responsibility system.
2. Oven! The salt bath furnace with newly built lining should comply with the baking regulations and generally heat up at a rate of less than 50 ℃/h. Staged insulation oven from low temperature to high temperature.
3. Open the furnace
(1) Add prepared salt, and do not mix low-temperature nitrate (working below 450 ℃) and high-temperature nitrate formulas (refer to the preparation and deoxygenation process technology for bath furnace salt).
(2) Connect the power supply of the electric furnace, insert the thermocouple after the salt melts, connect the power supply of the regulating instrument, and adjust the control point (temperature) to the required process temperature (corrected according to the temperature measurement results). Connect the fan power supply and allow the electric furnace to continuously heat up to the working temperature.
(3) Regularly measure the actual temperature and furnace temperature distribution inside the furnace (refer to the "Resistance Furnace Temperature Management Measures").
(4) The maximum temperature of the nitrate bath shall not exceed 560 ℃.
(5) The maximum temperature of the salt bath should be 20-30 ℃ lower than the flash point of the oil.
4. Work
(1) The liquid level should be kept at an appropriate height to prevent the workpiece from overflowing after being loaded.
(2) Load and unload the furnace slowly to prevent splashing.
(3) The workpieces and fixtures loaded into the bath furnace must be dried in advance to prevent molten salt or oil from splashing out.
(4) It is strictly prohibited to bring charcoal, oil, and other organic matter into the nitrate bath to prevent violent combustion and explosion accidents.
(5) The furnace surface and work area should be kept clean and the roads should be unobstructed. The furnace surface can be cleaned with a damp cloth, but it should not be rinsed with water.
(6) Regularly remove sediment from the bottom of the crucible and remove dirt from the liquid surface.
5. Shutdown of furnace
(1) Cut off the power and remove the thermocouple (salt bath and short-term shutdown salt bath may not be removed).
(2) Regularly lift out the crucible, check for any leakage, and inspect for any residual nitrate on the furnace surface flowing onto the heating element along the outer wall of the crucible. If any problems are found, take timely measures to eliminate them.
